SERVICE CHARGES:

 

COPIES OF TEXTUAL DOCUMENTS, MICROFILM AND PHOTOGRAPHIC REPRODUCTIONS

Photocopies from textual documents and microfilm can be requested at the time of research. Copying of certain documents from government and private collections may be limited by copyright or donor restrictions.

 

PHOTOCOPIES from textual documents (8.5 x 11 or 8.5 x 14) can be obtained at a cost of $0.30 per page for the first (10) pages and $0.15 per page thereafter. Textual documents (11 x 17) can be obtained at a cost of $0.50 per page. Certified copies are $2.00 per page.

 

MICROFILM COPIES can be obtained at a cost of $1.00 per page. Please note that due to the volume of requests for microfilm copies, please allow (1) one to (2) two days for your order to be processed. Payment for microfilm copies must be paid in full before the order can be processed.

 

PHOTOGRAPHIC REPRODUCTIONS can be obtained at a cost of $8.00 for 5 x 7 and $12.00 for 8 x 10. Please allow (4) four to (5) five working days for each request. Please note that photographic prints are black and white only. If colour prints are required, arrangements can be made with a local photographic service at an additional cost.

 

INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH INQUIRIES:

 

METHODS OF PAYMENT: Orders under $50.00 BSD must be prepaid. Payments should be made in the form of Money Orders or Bank Drafts and drawn in Bahamian Funds.

 

RESPONSE TIME: Due to the volume of requests received, please allow (4) four to (8) eight weeks for your order to be processed and mailed.

 

GUIDED TOURS: Upon request, guided tours are available to school groups. The tour, which lasts approximately one hour, is free of charge and is conducted Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 10:00 a.m.
