CEMETERY RECORDS

For many years the Archives has been involved in the transcription of headstones in a number of Cemeteries. As a result publications on Christ Church Cemetery, St. Matthew's Cemetery and Eastern Burial Grounds have been produced. In addition Cemetery Records have been deposited in the Archives from the Ministry of Works for the years 1897 - 1963. The records which are not continuous deal with Potters Field, Western and St. Matthew's Cemeteries. Other cemetery tombstones are currently being transcribed.
