To the genealogists wills are most attractive as they inform searchers of important data. From a will, information such as address, marital status, spouse name, names of children and other family members, slave names, and location of property can be obtained as well as the names of the executors. Many wills also have as a part of the compiled file, probate papers and letters of administration.
